The Enigma Kayaks Fishing Pro 12 is a good all-rounder for both coastal fishing and inland waterways such as lakes, canals and slow moving rivers. The 12ft hull glides well through the water and will handle small waves well.
This extra hull length makes the Fishing Pro 12 the best kayak from the Enigma Kayaks range for sea kayak fishing.
The Enigma Kayaks Fishing Pro 12 is fitted with two flush mount rod holders behind the seating area that can be used to stow rods whilst paddling, or to troll a lure off the back of the kayak. The kayak is fitted with a rudder system, operated with toe-control footrests. This makes turning a breeze and enhances performance in windy conditions. The rudder can be retracted onto the stern for launching and landing. All extras are mounted on a brass threaded insert for durability and to keep the Fishing Pro 12 water tight.
There is a central storage console in the footwell which allows you to store essentials within easy reach. The console cover makes a great place to mount accessories such as a fish finder or extra rod holders. The large rear tank well offers additional gear storage area and will take a small crate or bag to carry your fishing gear or catch. An easy-open front bow hatch offers even more storage space and is big enough to carry a fold up trolley.
The Enigma Kayaks Fishing Pro 12 offers a good combination of forwards speed and stability, making this a good choice for a wide range of paddlers. The Fishing Pro 12 offers superb value for money and is a great choice as a first fishing kayak for sea fishing or inland waters.
