The Gumotex Halibut is a new inflatable fishing kayak, perfect for anyone wanting to get out on the water fishing but not able to transport or store a plastic kayak. The Halibut is stable easy to paddle on calm waters, rivers and lakes and considerably lighter than the full plastic kayak alternative.

The bottom of the Gumotex Halibut has a solid floor board enabling a stable position for angling and standing should you so wish. The seat has 2 positions a high position (as pictured) for eas ycasting and moving around or a low position on the floor of the Halibut making for a very stable inflatable fishing kayak.

The Halibut comes with a sekg to ensure you get the best tracking no matter how good you are at paddling. For those who wish to use a fishfinder with the Halibut, it has a mounting point just behind the skeg to take the mounting of a transducer (mountings not supplied).

The Halibut offers plenty of storage space under the bungee cords bow and stern to ensure everything is safe whislt you are paddling searching for fish. The seat features 3 vertial pockets designed as fishing rod holders, the fore deck features an ajustable pannel with options to mount a fishing rod holder on it. That is not all either on the side of the Halibut Gumotex have put a handy paddle park feature so when casting or landing a fish you can safely stow your paddle.

The Halibut is made from Gumotex brialliant Nitrilon material which is very durable, quick to wash down and quick to dry. This means that any dirty from your trip can be easily washed off and you wont need to spend days drying it like with other nylon outer regular inflatable kayaks.

Then at the end of your day enjoy the benefits of an inflatable – pack everything into a bag and take it away on your back or in the boot of your car.
