Gumotex Seawave
The Gumotex Seawave is a brilliant tandem inflatable designed for costal touring in calm conditions. The seawave's long narrow shape gives it a high cruising speed whilst still allowing good manoeuvrability in small waves.
The Gumotex Seawave has reinforced cockpit rims allowing you to fit a removable spray deck if you so wish. The defined keel helps to reduce the influence of the wind and helps to keep Seawave tracking well rather than drifting sideways.
The Seawave is Gumotex most suited inflatable for coastal touring in calm conditions. Although a tandem kayak, the Seawave can also be fitted with a third seat by removing the deck completely. The 2 seats provided with the Seawave are comfortable and ideal for both day touring or multi day expeditions.
The Seawave is made from the brilliant Nitrilon allowing greater durability, easy clearing, quick drying and has a high abrasion resistance.
Seawave Standard: Includes the main boat with two seats. This can be used for two paddlers or set up for one paddler. This option is great for those wanting a great touring kayak for day trips and expeditions along your local waterway, lake or coastline on a calmer day.
Seawave Set: Includes Seawave Standard plus 1 x 2-person cockpit cover, 2 x zipped spray skirts, 1 x 3rd seat, and 1 x rudder system. This is great for those heading out in more challenging conditions or those wanting to paddle on longer expeditions. The rudder system enhances handling and performance. The cockpit covers for solo and tandem paddling feature rigid cross bars to provide extra rigidity to the hull. The closed cockpit design makes for a drier ride and warmer paddle!
