Old Town Discovery 133
From Old Town's much loved Discovery range, this 13ft3" open canoe is the smallest in the range that can be paddled as a tandem. The central seat can be used for a passenger or to paddle the boat solo.
The Discovery 133 uses the company's tough triple layer construction, so it is long lasting and ready for the most adventurous paddler, yet light enough to be manageable on or off the water.
The overall shape and design of this canoe gives great stability and control, creating a smooth and confidence-inspiring manner. The moderate amount of rocker makes the boat fun to maneuver but directionally stable enough to cover distances as well.
The Discovery 133 is a great option for outdoor enthusiasts looking for day trips out on flat or moving water, with enough room for kit to camp out on occasion. The traditional webbed wooden seats combine with modern plastic gunwales with moulded in handles to create a very capable and convenient boat in everyday use.
A real 'do-anything' open canoe that's tough and controllable enough for white water but equally happy on calm, flat water for a relaxing paddle.
