The Sorrento 126SK is Old Town's approach to a comfortable and easy to use day touring kayak! This really is a perfect boat for welcoming you into the sport. It is especially good if you normally are not a fan of sit-inside kayaks with its large cockpit and many other features.
With a wider design, the Sorrento 126 will be really stable which means you will get used to the boat and be happy on the water in no time! The large open cockpit not only makes it easy to get into and out of the Sorrento 126 SK, it will help you to feel less 'trapped' in comparison to other boats with smaller cockpit sizes. Alongside this, the Sorrento 126 SK features the Active Comfort System 2.0 (ACS2) seating which is Old Town's most comfortable and adjustable kayak seating available. With adjustability in the backrest (both up and down and front to back), a leg lifter and easily adjustable foot pegs.
A well designed hull shape with a shallow v-shape will help you track straight, and when the conditions get tricky you also have a drop down skeg to help lock you in and keep you moving in the right direction.
At the stern, a hatch with plenty of room for your spare layers, lunch and whatever else you may want for your trip! We'd recommend putting any kit that you take with you into a dry bag, even if you are using the rear hatch. Deck lines across the boat act as handy attachment points for any other gear that needs to be easy to access.
With a weight of just under 25kg the Sorrento 126SK is not only easy to use on the water; it will be fairly easy to manage off the water too!
