The all-new Hobie Mirage Compass brings a new hull design combining the fast bow from a Revolution and the stable hull and stern of a Pro Angler! This has created an excellent kayak for fishing and all-round touring. The Hobie Mirage Compass has a 12ft hull that's nimble through the water with great forwards speed. This, along with excellent stability and manoeuvrability, makes the Hobie Compass ideal for both inland and coastal waters.

The Hobie Mirage Compass is propelled by the efficient Mirage Drive 180 V2 system with Glide Technology and Patented Kick-Up Fin Technology for a smooth pedalling experience. Fingertip steering, using a control handle beside the seat operates the rudder beneath the stern for excellent manoeuvrability. Fish whilst on the move, take photos or film whilst on the move and much more with the Mirage Compass. The seat features quick-drying mesh and is adjustable allowing for a comfortable pedalling position to be achieved. The seat is optimally positioned in height for fishing whilst allowing for space beneath the seat for tackle storage.

The Mirage Compass is great for kayak fishing and comes complete with 2 moulded-in fishing rod holders. H-Track sections can be found either side of the foot well allowing for easy accessory mounting without the need to drill the kayak. The H-Track is compatible with all popular track mounts from Railblaza, Ram Mounts, Yak Attack and Scotty, allowing you to easily fit your fish finder, rod holders, camera mounts and more. The large rear tank well will easily house a storage crate such as the H-Crate for storage of your fishing gear, or even the Hobie Livewell, and comes with bungee tie-downs. Further gear can be stored beneath the mesh cover on the bow of the Compass. The Hobie Mirage Compass has an 8 inch Twist and Stow hatch, fitted in front of the seat so that you can keep fishing tackle or bait within easy reach. A flat deck in front of the seat allows for standing in flat calm waters, for sight fishing and casting.

The Mirage Compass also comes fitted with the Lowrance-Ready system. The Lowrance-Ready system makes fish finder installation easy, using a large transducer scupper under the kayak and a system of deck seals for waterproof cable routing. The deck seals are supplied seperately allowing for installation where suits you best.

The Compass is one of the lightest kayaks in the Mirag Kayak range, coming in at a respectable 31kg fitted hull weight, and 39kg when loaded with the Mirage Drive, Seat and Paddle.

Hobie have now introduced the Hobie Compass Camo Edition! This version of the Hobie Compass comes as standard with the Mirage 180 pedal drive and Turbo fins as standard making the pedal of this Compass the best. The fantastic Camo colour scheme and all the standard features of the regualr Hobie Compass really finish it off.

MirageDrive 180 V2 With Glide Technology & Kick Up Fins (2021 Model) - Providing speed & efficiency to the Compass, the Mirage Drive 180 V2 is Hobie's flagship drive system that features Hobie's patented Kick Up Fin Technology for care-free kayaking as well as full power forward or reversing pedalling with the pull of a toggle! Kick-Up Fins will automatically kick up if you happen to impact with any underwater objects/obstructions, drastically reducing the chances of damaging your fins or drive system. Lowrance Ready Scupper - Built-In Transducer Scupper Mount included as standard. For those looking to fish from their Compass, this makes Fish Finder Installation Quick and Easy!

Twist & Seal Hatch - Twist and seal hatches are simple to use and are hinged so you will never have to worry about losing the cover. The hatches allow you to store equipment below deck.

Two piece paddle - Hobie's come complete with a two piece paddle that can be used for additional manoeuvrability or for when you are not peddling. When not in use the paddle can be stored in the handy hull paddle holder.

Mesh stowage pockets - Keep the items you need close and handy like sun cream, snack bar or waterproof camera.

Deep moulded carry handles - Moulded in cary handles make lifting and moving the Hobie Compass nice and easy.

Front storage area - Allows for easy storage under the front netting cover.

Cup holders - Cup holders are conveniently placed within easy reach. Large Hobie drinks bottle comes with the Hobie kayaks.
