The Hobie Passport offers all the benefits of the Mirage Drive pedal system in a simplified kayak at fantastic price point. The Passport 12.0 is an efficient, stable kayak for those wanting pedal power without all the extra accessories found on the premium range of Mirage Drive kayaks. Lightweight for a 12ft kayak and easy to move around off the water, the Passport features a two-tone thermoformed hull, with injection-moulded mirage drive well. At 12ft long the Hobie Passport is a great size for both general touring and kayak fishing. The hull is stable and tracks well in a straight line. The Hobie Passport is a perfect choice of kayak for general touring and cruising as well as angling on calm waters.

The Hobie comes complete with MirageDrive GT Drive System with Glide Technology and Kick-Up Fins. This is a simple and easy to maintain system that features Hobie's patented Kick Up Fin Technology for care-free kayaking! Kick-Up Fins will automatically kick up if you happen to impact with any underwater objects/obstructions, drastically reducing the chances of damaging your fins or drive system. Glide roller bearing technology as standard allows for a smooth pedalling experience and adjustable pedal crank arms allow for paddlers of various heights to use the Passport series. The Hobie Passport includes an aluminium frame mesh seat with tilt adjustment for a comfort.

The Hobie Passport includes a rudder system for easy steering the kayak whilst pedaling. The rudder is manually deployed and hauled when launching and landing and is controlled using the steering handle located beside the seat. The rudder system uses a push-pull rod design for direct control and ease of maintenance and tuning.

The Hobie Passport has a variety of storage solutions including a rear cargo area, bow storage area with bungee's, accessible tackle storage and an 8'' Twist-N-Seal hatch positioned in front of the seat. The Hobie Passport also boasts other great features of which include two flush mount rod holders, accessory mounting tracks beside the foot well, eva foam standing pads, carry handles at the bow, stern and sides, and a vertical accessory tube for optional accessories such as the Sail Kit.

Suspended Mesh Aluminium Frame Seat - The suspended mesh aluminium frame seating system offers great comfort and adjustability for a day on the water. You can also remove it to make a beach chair to relax in when you land.

Twist & Seal hatch - The Hobie Twist and Seal hatch has been used by Hobie and loved by owners for years. Its simple hinge design and twist to lock opening/closing means you don't have to mess around with hatches any more.

Rudder System - The Passport 12.0 has a simple spring loaded kick up rudder system controlled via an easy to use steering arm located by the side of the seat. The rudder blade on the Passport 12.0 can be manually raised and deployed.

Rear Storage Area With Rod Holders - A large rear storage area with securing bungees allows for you to take all of your essential equipment on the water, whether you're fishing or taking a day trip up the river. Two Flush Mounted Rod Holders are also fitted as standard at the rear.

2-Piece (Alloy Shaft) Kayak Paddle - The Hobie Passport comes with a 2 part alloy paddle to assist with manoeuvrability or for the odd occasion when you don't want to use the Mirage Drive. The paddle can be handily stored in the paddle holder to the side of the kayak when pedaling.
